The church of the visitation is located in the village of Taynuilt in Argyll.
We are a small but vibrant parish and you are welcome to join us in the celebration of mass and for private prayer.

SCIAF wee boxes are to be returned on Easter Sunday and certainly no later than Sunday 7 April.
The Easter church clean will take place Sat 30th March at 11:00am - help with this will be very welcome.
New Rag Bag bin is ready to receive further donations of clothes, shoes and handbags. There is a box in the porch where items can be left. They must be in a securely tied plastic bag and of good quality and clean. Only the following are accepted Men’s, Ladies, Children’s clothing, belts, bags and paired shoes (tied together).

The Church celebrates this sixth Sunday of Lent as both Palm Sunday and Passion Sunday. This is the time of year we stop to remember and relive the events which brought about our redemption and salvation. What we commemorate and relive during this week is not just Jesus’ dying and rising, but our own dying and rising in Jesus, which will result in our healing, reconciliation, and redemption. Attentive participation in the Holy Week liturgy will deepen our relationship with God, increase our Faith, and strengthen our lives as disciples of Jesus. Today’s liturgy combines contrasting moments, one of glory, the other of suffering: the royal welcome of Jesus in Jerusalem, and the drama of the trial, culminating in crucifixion, death and burial for the Christ.
The struggle between doing God’s will and our own will is reflected in Jesus’ prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, and it parallels the human experience of praying for relief in times of suffering.
